If you are looking for a Leslie Sansone 30 min. walk this DVD is a great choice. It’s Leslie Sansone walking with a group of regular people who all look as if they are enjoying their workout. The group is mainly women & one guy & there is a fun family feeling of progressing together. The music has a good beat but is not distracting. The set is cheerful & the camera work is smooth, one gets a variety of camera angles. The mood is light and purposeful. It might sound a bit funny at first to be walking in front of your screen but it’s actually fun & energizing. The 2-mile walk will make you sweat but it feels great! There is a milometer to show each progressive half mile achieved which is encouraging.
I find Leslie easy to follow & pleasant to walk with on a regular basis. I’ve read a lot of Leslie Sansone reviews for her fitness videos & most people find her easy to live with while just a few find her talking a bit much. One can always turn down the sound but I really enjoy her encouraging chat & find it motivating as she describes the benefits of what I am doing. Several reviewers were so happy to report life-changing results such as loosing 50 to 80 lbs! They sounded as pleased as punch with the results & it’s easy to see why Leslie Sansone workout videos are so popular.
All that’s needed to do the Leslie Sansone walk away the pounds express DVD 2 in 1 is a way to play the DVD; I use my laptop when I travel. Only a small space is needed & Leslie recommends some fitness shoes, some water to drink & a “stretchie” resistance band. The band is not essential but it’s useful to get the most out of the workout.
Here is the band I recommend. It’s called the Dyna-Band. I bought mine when I bought my DVD quite a while ago. Some bands I’ve used stick together & quickly decompose but this Dyna-Band is still going strong. Consider getting 2 bands so you can enjoy the workout with a friend if you like. There is some latex rubber in it.
If you are allergic to latex I think you will be fine with this non-latex band. The Amazon description says it 6.5” long but it’s really 6.5 feet long according to the maker’s website.
One incentive I find is I can eat a treat & still loose weight if I do 2-mile high calorie-burning workout afterwards.
